About the inventory
All the items you've collected: company cards, skins, badges and more. Almost everything in your inventory is cosmetic and gives no advantage in a match. The only exception is described below.
Item types
Rarity
Six rarity levels, from common to exclusive. The higher the rarity, the less often an item drops for a ranked win. For skins, badges and other cosmetics, rarity only affects appearance, not gameplay.
Company cards
Cards have their own separate tier scale, and they're the only item type that actually affects gameplay. An applied card replaces a board property and, if you own the full monopoly of its sphere, adds a rent bonus on top of the usual rent:
For the Auto and Game developers spheres the card replaces the property as soon as you buy it. Other spheres need a full monopoly, otherwise the card sits in your inventory with no effect.
How to get items
- Winning a ranked match gives a chance to get a card (win drop).
- Buying from another player on the market.
- A direct trade with another player.
Market and buyback
An item you don't need can be listed on the market and sold to another player, or sold to the platform instantly at the buyback price. It's faster, but cheaper than waiting for a buyer.
