Site rules
The rules of conduct on the MPoly platform are collected here. Game mechanics and numbers are on the How to play page.
Version of October 3, 2026
1. General provisions
These rules describe how to behave on the MPoly platform: in matches, chats, the market and trades. By registering or signing in, you accept them in full.
Not knowing the rules is no excuse. If a situation isn't covered here, use common sense and don't spoil the game for other people.
- One person, one account. Creating extra accounts to get around a ban, inflate ratings or accept your own trades is prohibited.
- The rules apply to every section of the site: matches, chats, the market, the inventory, trades and your profile.
2. Account and security
- Your login and password are your responsibility. Don't share them with third parties or use someone else's account, even with the owner's consent.
- Selling, transferring or renting an account is prohibited. If your account is hacked, change your password immediately and end extra sessions under Settings → Security → Active sessions.
- All your sign-ins appear in the list of active sessions. If you see an unfamiliar device, end its session and change your password.
- You can change your password under Settings → Security. Never give your password to administrators: MPoly staff will never ask for it.
3. Fair play
Ranked matches should reflect players' real skill. Anything that distorts the result counts as a violation.
- Third-party programs, scripts, modified clients and any automated actions in place of a live player are prohibited.
- Using bugs and exploits is prohibited. If you find a bug, report it, so it gets fixed faster.
- Colluding with other players to inflate ratings, throw matches or make deals outside fair trading is prohibited.
- Forfeiting a match, deliberately quitting or disconnecting to avoid a loss counts as a defeat and is recorded in your statistics.
- If a ranked match doesn't find enough live players, the empty seats are filled with bots. A bot always has a «BOT» badge, and when you search for a game you're clearly told that opponents are bots. Beating a bot is a fair win, but the RP for it is reduced by a coefficient. A loss to a bot counts in full.
- If no live players are left in a match with bots (everyone has surrendered or disconnected), the game ends and the bots win. This is shown on the results screen.
4. Rank and rewards
- Rank (RP) is awarded and deducted only based on ranked matches. Matches set up manually in a room don't affect rank.
- Company cards for a win (win drops) are awarded only for a win in a ranked match, and only by chance. There is never a guarantee.
- Rewards and RP earned in a match are recorded as soon as it ends and are not revisited.
- Attempts to get around reward limits (for example, repeated wins over the same decoy account) count as a violation.
5. Communication
- Insults, harassment, discrimination on any grounds, threats and explicit content are prohibited.
- Spam, advertising third-party sites, sending links and extortion are prohibited, in match chat, in private messages and on profiles.
- Don't publish other people's personal data (phone numbers, addresses, correspondence).
- If a player is bothering you, you can ignore them right from the match. This hides their chat messages for you only. The permanent list of ignored users is under Settings → Blocklist.
- A complaint about a player is sent from their menu in the match. Moderators review complaints; mass false complaints are themselves a violation.
6. Market, trades and items
- A trade confirmed by both sides is final. There are no refunds on trades, so check the item and terms before you confirm.
- Direct trades between players carry no platform fee.
- Selling an item on the market carries the platform fee; the platform's buyback is at the item's book value. Current percentages are listed on the market page.
- It's prohibited to list items you don't own, describe an item incorrectly, or mislead other players with trade terms.
- In-game items have no monetary value outside the platform. Reselling through third-party sites and counterfeiting items are prohibited.
7. Moderation and sanctions
Violations are met with measures depending on their nature and severity: a warning, a temporary ban, or a permanent account ban. Repeated violations lead to stricter measures.
- All moderation actions are recorded in your moderation history: Settings → Security.
- A ban can apply to specific features (for example, the market) or to the whole account. The reason and duration are given in the notification.
- If you think a decision is wrong, you can appeal it once on the Appeal page, using the case number given in the ban notice.
- Violations not listed explicitly can also lead to sanctions if they harm other players or the platform's operation.
8. Privacy
- What other players see on your profile and who can message you is set under Settings → Privacy. Changes apply immediately.
- Match statistics and rating may be visible to other players, depending on your chosen profile visibility.
- Don't share other people's data that you've come across in the game or in chat.
9. Changes to the rules
- The rules may change. The current version is always on this page, and the date of the last update is shown at the top.
- Significant changes that affect game balance or users' rights will be published on this page before they take effect.
- By continuing to use the platform after an update, you agree to the new version of the rules.
